Today one of my few very good and only friends (that all moved away to various far away places last year) came to town. She and I went to the library as they were selling outdated and seldom borrowed books. The books were really cheap and I bought:

* A tourist guide book to NY (since I'm going there during the end of november)

* Three childrens' books by danish Ole Lund Kirkegaard (they are truly great, I loved them as a kid, and still do. If I ever get children of my own they are a must)

*Two novels in one 'Historietter' and 'Martin Birck's youth' by Hjalmar Söderberg

*Asimov, 'I, Robot' (just because it was cheap I guess, perhaps it's good)

*Arthur Miller, 'Plain girl',

and a Book with spaceships.

Thereafter we went to some exhibition with a crappy croatian artist, and after that we went to a café. It was great seeing her, I use to miss her a lot. She has moved some 400 km away to study cognitive psychology, which is bad since she is the only person (apart from Karin) I can really talk to about anything.

Since last update, naturally, quite a few things have happened. Most importantly, possibly, is the fact that I managed to get a job at IKEA. It's not as fancy as it sounds though, I work in a huge warehouse, where I mostly prepare orders from customers to be shipped to them. That is one benefit with living in a logistical centre.

(I guess the rate at which I update this journal could not be called frequent (despite initial promises of a somewhat well-updated and interesting diary). However, I felt urged to update due to Karin's reoccurring accusations about the earlier mentioned. Sorry, please leave a comment if you wish)
